"Hatred is a very underestimated emotion."
Steven Vance Rodgers was born in Dallas TX and raised in a rural community in the Panhandle of Texas. He enlisted in the US Army in 1997. After serving in the regular Army and the Texas National Guard he was medically retired as a SSG (E-6) in 2012.
After retirement he was a victim of police brutality causing many legal issues and a mistrust in police. After long term counseling he concluded that there are many ethical civil servants as well as unethical. His experiences caused him to get involved with local advocacy in Kempner where he has resided since 2008. He has protested in support of the Kempner Police Department in 2018 after several officers were released after filing a complaint on the current Mayor. Vance now advocates for citizens rights and having an honest, transparent government that attempts to make governmental decisions based on the good of the citizens and community.
Vance is an avid motorcycle enthusiast, animal advocate and supporter of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
